Description of Artwork: The sculptures are oversized metal chairs that represent chairs used in a courtroom, one symbolizes the defendant and twelve symbolize the members of the jury. Each chair is a unique sculpture symbolizing the individuals on a jury and the diversity of thinking among its members. The defendant chair faces out to the lawn area and is designed to be "generic" — a reference that anyone could be a defendant. It is placed on the corner to encourage passers-by to sit and "face the jury."

Artist: Douglas Kornfeld
Home State: Massachusetts
Title of Work: Face the Jury
Material: High strength steel, concrete foundations, earth mounds
Dimension: Varies - each chair approximately 6' high
