Description of Artwork: A wall within the lobby of the Pinellas County Communications Department is home to a large relief woodcarving. Created by Seattle artist Steve Jensen, the red cedar carving depicts a symbolic "Pinellas Tower" — a radio tower loosely based on the historic RKO logo, a broadcasting tower on top of the world. The carving also depicts Florida images such as palms, dolphins and starfish. A smaller accompanying woodcarving resides just outside the front door.
